Pros

The location is perfect for my needs. My co-workers are amazing. I am satisfied with the pay and the benefits. Am happy to have a job where self motivation is encouraged.

Cons

The hardest thing I have found with this company is the lack of leadership. I prefer to work in an environment where I have the ability to organize and complete my workload in the order that is best for me. I find that here however there are times when direction is needed and it can not be obtained. Sometimes asking for direction is met with opposition and attitude.

Pros

This is the first job in a while I feel like could be a career and not just a day to day job. The management is great and understanding when real life comes up. They have a great time off benefit, and are just an all around great company.

Cons

Health Insurance. Getting it for just yourself isn't bad, but if you need insurance for your family, you are screwed. Also, having employee reviews more than once a year where there could be a bump in pay would help. Sometimes its frustrating knowing you are doing more work than others, but getting paid less.

Pros

There are a lot of programs available. Currently they have a class to help employees quit smoking. They also are doing a weight loss challenge. They have done toy and food drives for the holidays and they are constantly taking suggestions. They seem to be aware of the problems they are having and they are building the company into a positive direction. Management is trying hard to solve all of the problems BSI has. Good Hours and benefits.

Cons

There can be a lot of drama here. Not very many employees want to take an extra step; they want to only the bare minimum that they are required to do. The company as a whole seems to struggle to make deadlines because of this. Some of management also seems to put deadlines on the back burner. Personal vendettas seem to get in the way of accomplishing goals. The pay is a little low and training needs a lot of work.
