      Pay well for southern virginia

      Cons

      They are stuck in the past and are ripping off the US taxpayer. Most of the senior leaders came up through the ranks together and back each other. Hopefully Rex can turn the tide.

      keeping a couple good folks employed.

      Cons

      the management will change and approve a procedure (that will conflict the customer specifications). A very dangerous game to play. Particularly, if the blame is placed on the operators.

      Very poor ethics in certain departments

      Pros

      Coworkers were great, pay was good, and schedule was a nice plus (9/80 schedule). Not much else good about it....

      Cons

      Technology is seriously lagging but the biggest issue is the unethical behavior of management in certain departments. The good old boy environment is alive and well once again after the separation from B&W. They want a "safe" environment but you can't trust going to HR with legitimate ethical violation issues for fear you will be shown the door. Management also should not brag about knowing the legal "rules" for letting someone go as a means for keeping people in line.
