Zero Guidance

Pros

Flexible work life although sometimes an old school “you need to be seen to know you are working”

Cons

No guidance at all, employees are expected to come up with annual goals with no input from their managers and are penalized if they don’t. Managers, especially the leadership team would rather delegate vs guide and mentor. Most power and emphasis is put on the sales team, if they don’t like you, you might as well leave because their word is gold.

A great place to work

Pros

Great culture, some of the best managers I've ever had, very collaborative teams, an atmosphere of respect, amazing work-life balance, world-class benefits.

Cons

A little old-school technology and risk averse. Not much room for advancement because management has all ben around a long time and isn't going anywhere. Too much dependance and focus on making revenue instead of users.
