Pros

They are remote, so that works in this current climate.

Cons

If you are not a family member or a friend, you have no chance in surviving. The relationships in the place are tight.

Mom & Pop shop

Business Outlook

Pros

A small company atmosphere with an excellent work/life balance.

Cons

This is a mom & pop shop wanting to be more but stuck in the distant past. Seniority is based on the time spent at the company rather than anything else. They say their systems and processes are a little old and could use a lot of work, but don't dare agree with that statement. Try modernizing or improving anything and a "founder" will personally interfere with every little bit of work you try to complete. If you want to work at a tech company with a 1990 to 2005 feel, this is the place for you.

Politics are tough to navigate

Pros

- Excellent benefits - Competitive salary - Nice people - Unlimited PTO - Fun company events

Cons

- Too few women in upper management - A lot of process red tape. Projects move at a snail’s pace, and it takes FOREVER to accomplish anything if any other person outside of your immediate team is needed - A lot of workplace politics to learn and navigate as a new hire - Employee recognition is lacking
