      Pros

      Pay is in line with the rest of Wall Street, albeit a little below the bulge brackets. Platform continues to grow and has really good deal flow, particularly in mid market M&A.

      Cons

      A little behind the curve on staffing trends. Naturally, hours aren't friendly but this depends on coverage group and office location.

      Pros

      I was pleasantly surprised by Baird's associate-focused culture. Coming into finance from a background in the public sector, I thought the work environment would be much more cutthroat. In reality, Baird turned out to be an excellent place to learn and grow not only because opportunities for advancement are available but because management is more than willing to help you figure out a path for advancement and achieve your goals.

      Free parking would be nice.
