Good Company- Very "Wisconsin"

Pros

Some groups have a very meritocratic bent while at the same time having midwestern, hard drinking family values.

Cons

Some groups seem to have trouble breaking out of the mold and effectively competing in larger markets. Consulting especially seems to get overlooked in strategic and organizational planning despite being 1/3rd of the company.

Pros

Promote development and growth to potential employees in term of personal and professional. Encourage staff to pursue for professional advancement i.e. getting professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA and secondment to affiliate office in other countries.

Cons

Employee benefits such as overtime paid or time off are not available. Work life balance hard to achieve, thus do 'balance up' in term of benefits.
