      Pros

      Very laidback position with a lot of down time. Little to no stress involved.

      Cons

      At times can be very boring. Lots of sitting around with nothing to do. Bringing other work to do or a book is definitely a necessity.

      Close to home, good experiences, good entry level job fresh out of undergrad.

      Cons

      Really long hiring process, county processes and policy make it difficult to accomplish work tasks in a timely manner

      Pros

      Gain experience working with vulnerable individuals and families. Collaboration with different disciplines and coordination of care with other providers. Linkage to community providers.

      Cons

      Clinical case management does not allow for seasoned worker autonomy. Supervisor directs all movement in cases. Court intervention is over utilized and time consuming. Although used as a shared accountability measure, good social work practices can engage a client all the same.
