      Pros

      - If you apply yourself, are willing to change and invest yourself 100%, you will absolutely grow and succeed here. BambooHR is undoubtably a place that challenges you professionally, in the best way, and I feel that I am always given the support that I need to succeed in those challenges. - Unparalleled QUALITY coworkers. Seriously though. The people I work with are all amazing in SO many ways. There is a plethora of talented people here, that are all focused on the success of the company as a whole, rather than having their own private agenda or focusing on themselves. - GENUINE, open and honest communication. Bamboo is THE most authentic company I've worked at. We're realistic about our strengths and weaknesses, aware of them, and we strive to work on them and grow from good to great. - The benefits are strategic and thoughtful. By strategic I mean, they're given a lot of thought and consideration, and BambooHR is careful to implement benefits that will benefit the most amount of employees, in meaningful and lasting ways. Our benefits are meant to support is in important areas of health, wellness and growth, such as financial and physical fitness, work life balance and having experiences.

      Cons

      You won't like it here if you don't like to work hard. This isn't a con so much as something to be aware of. We don't like to waste time. We make the most of our time while we're here so that when we're done, we can go home and forget about work, knowing that we were all in that day.

      Pros

      Great to place to work! They take their time to hire the best people. I feel comfortable and confident in my ability to complete the tasks assigned me. One thing that I love is they give you every resource you need to succeed. I would recommend Bamboo to all of my friends.

      Cons

      I do have a suggestion. Bamboo tries to keep the same culture across all departments with the same incentives. We are big enough now that we can have an over arching culture while having subset cultures throughout the company. Sales is motivated differently than say the dev group or product marketing but we all offered the same incentives.

You mentioned in your review that at BambooHR we try to maintain the culture across all departments - which is correct. We want everyone at BambooHR to feel that they are a part of the same team with the same mission, vision, and values. It seems that your main feedback point is that incentives and compensation are the same across the organization and should be different for each department. We offer the same benefits package to employees in all departments. We do, however, recognize that each department is different when it comes to incentives, opportunities, and compensation. We incorporate the nature of the work, what is going on in the market, and how all roles work within the compensation model to determine salary and monetary incentives. Additionally, feedback and ideas are an important element in shaping incentives and compensation in each department.       Great company and even better culture

      Pros

      Culture has been really thought out to make sure employees improve their quality of life. Very open environment with ability to give and receive feedback. Management is very approachable and transparent about company vision and roadmap.

      Cons

      They are growing fast and experiencing some growing pains organizationally. Roles are getting redefined often, which can slow things down. Even though employees have autonomy to pursue projects, they aren't always given all the tools they need to see them through.
