      The best company to work for. PERIOD.

      Pros

      I have been around the block in my career with over 25+ years in tech. I worked for them all. Large Fortune 500 companies on Wall Street to small tech startups in San Fran. The company culture and work-life balance at BambooHR are the absolute best. You will NOT find a company that is better. As a developer, you are pursued by many with all sorts of shiny "things". Don't fall for that trap. Find people you would love to work with on a great product. That trumps everything. And at BambooHR you get that in spades. The retirement benefits are great. Far better than most. Very generous time off where we are encouraged to take that time off. Paid-Paid vacation is awesome! I love the founders and trust them. I know that they truly care for each of us and our family. (This is RARE folks. Like, unicorn RARE)

      Cons

      I wish the medical plan was a little more generous. I would love to see medical plans that will get you close to zero dollars out of pocket with low or no deductible if you stay in-network. I would also like to see some more emphasis on formalized training plans tailored to the employee and aligned with the company's goals.

      Great company to work for!

      Pros

      BambooHR is a great company to work for. The executive team is open with employees - I feel like I can talk to anyone in the company regardless of their title or position. Most everyone is dedicated to doing a great job in their role. We hold each other accountable but want to do our best.

      Cons

      Bureaucracy and hard to get projects pushed through. If you use certain "buzzwords" when trying to get project approved they're dead in the water.

      Pros

      Unmatched combination of culture, work-life balance, autonomy, and progression. This is the place to be to work hard during work hours, then leave work at the office. The founders are very business-savvy and have the company headed in the right direction. Employee benefits are designed with the employee and their family in mind, rather than what might be most cost-effective for the company. BambooHR has a great hiring process that helps get the right people into the right positions much more often than not. Paid-Paid Vacation is always a sweet deal too.

      Cons

      I can see how working at BambooHR could not be a good fit for certain types of people. If you are looking for a flashy environment, this is probably not the place. If you are looking to become the highest paid (insert your job title here), BambooHR is not for you. BambooHR does not do some of the typical tech company perks such as free food, on-site gym, recreation area, etc.
