THE place to work in Utah

Pros

BambooHR is one of the few places that actually practices what they preach--a company whose emphasis in the market is "setting people free to do great work" is doing just that internally. The company values like Be Open, Assume the Best, Enjoy Quality of Life, Lead from Where You Are, Do the Right Thing, and Grow from Good to Great are actually practiced every single day--albeit imperfectly. These values are exemplified by leadership, and they are super careful to preserve that culture as they grow. BambooHR also really seems to have work/life balance worked out really well--it's intense, focused work while you're at work, so you can feel good about going home at 5 and focusing on developing on a personal level.

Cons

As Bamboo grows, it can begin to lose the "family" feel, so a lot of individual effort has to be made to stay connected to people across departments.

Pros

The owners are just great people. They are down-to-earth and very approachable. I'm actually sort of an introvert (and new,) but these guys will go out of their way to come and talk to me! They know my name and remember previous conversations. Everyone emulates that great attitude as a result. It's a really great team and I find myself wishing I had more qualified friends and former colleagues to send their way. I work 40 hours per week and that's it!

Cons

Lots of transition and growth can make your job more challenging and make you feel less-than-stellar compared to others who stand out. So you feel some pressure to be excellent. It's not compulsory though. Probably just the fruit of a good work culture.

Pros

Best sales job I've ever had. The CEO really cares and they are constantly improving the benefits and work environment every year. I feel that this company lives by there creed of work life balance. I've been with BambooHR for 5 months and I love it. I get good leads to work most day and the company has a great reputation which makes my sales even easier. I really only work 40 hours a week and nobody is looking behind my back. Its a totally on your honor system.

Cons

There are growing pains as the Sales department has grown it has not been perfect but honest efforts have been made to help each rep be Successful
