This is the best place I have EVER worked! What makes the difference? The culture and company values. Many companies have a mission statement with company values. At BambooHR, we live them. We are a family who cares and truly wants to help each other succeed. That care is felt from the top.

Cons

BambooHR is growing very quickly and it gets pretty busy. That can be stressful sometimes but the culture and team atmosphere help. You are given the tools and support needed to complete the job.

1. Quality of life: You come at 8:00, leave at 5:00 and never think about work outside those hours. When you're at work you are 100% at work and use time wisely so that time outside of work can be most effective. 2. Culture: within a week of working there everyone knew my name and something about me. This even occurred on my first day! The culture is upbeat, optimistic, a team environment, and very real. 3. Benefits: The paid, paid vacation is something that really motivated me to come to Bamboo but their health, dental, retirement, and other bonus opportunities are a bonus I didn't expect. I received four job offers before deciding upon BambooHR and after just a few days working there, I knew I had made the right choice. I'd recommend to anyone looking to be respected, to put in a good day's work, and to improve their work environment.

Cons

I know I could a bit more money per hour working elsewhere but the culture and benefits are so great that I value those more than I value an extra bit in my paycheck.

- Not sure if it's possible to find a better work-life balance anywhere else. - Culture is super friendly -- people across all departments are friendly - Work with smart, positive people - Competitive compensation and good benefits - Growing company that stands by its values - Management is great at listening and are good people managers - Organization is flat

Cons

- If you know what you want, then this is a great company, because it encompasses what you want from a company. However, if you are expecting things that are unsaid, unwritten, and unproven because Bamboo is a tech company, then you better have a solid bulletproof road map, or else you will likely be disappointed. BambooHR is different than a lot of tech companies because it doesn't have ping pong tables and stuff, but holds great values.
