Pros

BambooHR has a great culture with good benefits.

Cons

The pay could be better and, specifically about the customer support role, it always feels understaffed and overworked, especially for the pay. They also talk a lot about wanting to see your career growth (one of the values is grow from good to great) but in this position, it's extremely difficult to do when they do external hires and there aren't many openings for upwards mobility.

Pros

They are incredible at hiring the right people. Everyone is diverse, but everyone has a unique quality to them that not many people possess. It’s great working with great people. I’m a big fan of their benefits. These are the selling points to keeping here.

Cons

I really wish taking time off was easier. Within implementation (project management), it’s difficult to take time off without quickly falling behind on work, thus lowering the overall desire to want to take time off. The work loads are stressful and high. Sometimes they seem nearly impossible but somehow we make it through.

The benefits are really awesome here. Overall, I felt trusted to do my work. High level of training for new employees.

Cons

At the end of my employment things started to get VERY busy and it felt like management just expected the team to soak up the extra work instead of getting more workforce. The amount of work to pay is pretty low for this position. You’re a Swiss Army knife that has to grind day in and day out to earn a marginal pay increase. This eventually drove me to find a different job.
