Some people in leadership are part of an MLM and no one had any problem with leadership openly and sometimes forcefully trying to recruit sales reps to be part of their down line. Pay is incredibly low. Make sure you understand what promotion criteria looks like before you jump into a low level AE role. I saw many people who had been in the role for over a year never promote and quite a few get demoted to SDR as well. On top of that, I saw people hit the promotion criteria, and not get promoted because “there wasn’t a business need” as they continued to outside hire for that very position. Confusing to say the least. Most people stay because of the “security” but pay is so low and promotion so difficult it may be worth a second thought before joining. Quota is monthly and there was an expectation for you to bring your laptop with you on vacation so you didn’t miss too much work.
