Bancroft's mission is second to none. There are many dedicated, compassionate people that work in every dept. Co-workers are willing to lend a hand, plenty of committees to get involved with and the opportunity to make a difference. If you want to go home with a warm heart every day, this is the place to be.

Cons

Communication between management and staff about hierarchy, changes within depts. Fair pay.

Pros

Bancroft is willing to grow their employees. They offer many training incentives and make you feel as if there's an opportunity for career development. You're working for the betterment of society and making a difference in individuals lives. There's a great team camaraderie, and they really attempt to have all employees feel engaged.

Cons

Annual cost of living adjustments are very insignificant compared to most organizations this size. Policies and Procedures implemented by the executive team, inhibit the ability to get work done which ultimately effects the individuals. They do not offer bonuses or incentives.

Pros

Great coworkers, entry level experience, negotiable pay, networking opportunities

Cons

Turnover, lack of support, zero communication, refusal to give direct support the tools that they need to succeed, supervisors never on site, accrued PTO, needed to call in sick before 8pm the night before or face disciplinary action, use of PTO required 30 days notice, no one bothered to perform an exit interview when I gave my two weeks notice which makes me question the company's care of their extremely high turnover rate.
