Pros

There are no pros. This company is a joke.

Cons

Was hired on with the promise of great pay, and all the money I've spent towards getting my license would be reimbursed, and only good things about working here. Come to find out, it's only great pay if the people you sell to actually keep their policy inforce. I made goal, and the incentive was a laptop which I received, but when I quit they took it back. It's like taking away a bonus check, like what the heck!? They sell to anyone! We sold policies to people who couldn't even afford electricity, and people who only have $50 left in their account! Who does that!? And when I told them about that, they tried justifying it by saying the money they could have used to pay for electricity they're out partying with instead. Like how do you know that?! It's just sad, and you have to be heartless to work here. The target group is poor old people who can't think for themselves. Not people who actually can afford insurance. The company is a scam to the employees, and it's clients. Not one good thing to say about this place. When I left to go see my dying Grandma, they told me to make sure I bring my laptop so I can still work and make appointments for other agents. So inconsiderate. Never got reimbursed my money. And the last check I was suppose to receive I never got. Awful company to work for. If you're called and asked to come in to interview, tell them NO!

Pros

I've worked at Bankers for 10yrs now. I'm fortunate enough to help people from all walks of life. Im able to help them get a better understanding of what options they have as they transition into retirement or get a better understanding of new options that may be available to folks who are currently retired. My clients and colleagues alike have become friends for a life time, this is what makes our company great! I'm very lucky to have came for that 1st interview 10yrs ago, it truly changed me and my families life.

Cons

Success doesn't come without effort. You will get out of this career what you put in it. When I started I was just out of college. It takes discipline, drive, and determination to work when others leave early, to take the day off to goof off, or don't continue their education by learning products. The biggest Pro is the biggest Con. We have lots of freedom and flexibility with our schedule. As a new person when I came on board managing time was difficult. We go visit clients daily and when an appointment didn't pan out it was very easy to go home early or go play golf. I've learned successful people have to be willing do things unsuccessful aren't willing to do. This is where the discipline, drive and determination come into play.
