Pros

It would seem at first glance that Banner really cares for their employees. After being there for a little while, you will start to see a toxic culture that is comparable to a high school girls behavior.

Cons

They treat employees unfairly and have no regard for good workers who don't have the same sketchy ways of dealing with people. I worked my butt off to be told I was below expectations due to certain people not liking me. People are very passive aggressive and start rumors about the off shifts. Leadership will target people they don't like and will make up lies about them. That is why I left. I was trying to stand up for something unfair that was happening and was berated and completely disregarded. I was sick and tired of that sort of treatment. They also have 0 training and will throw you unprepared into a role and not help you become better. You're not rated off of performance, you're rated on how well liked you are by the in crowd there.

Pros

The location is close to home.

Cons

Very few people in management roles truly have a calling and passion for developing their employees and matching their talents and professional objectives. You are assigned without consideration to where your interest or talent lies.

I was on a shift that I enjoyed. Nothing else I am just filling in this section because I needed to have a minimum of 20 words

Cons

Micro Management, it depends on who you know to get promoted.

We appreciate your sharing thoughts on your experience here at Banner because it’s through this kind of feedback that we can continue to learn and improve. I wanted to take a moment to comment on your thoughts. One of the four core values here at Banner is to “demonstrate trust”, and one way that trust is imparted is we don’t micromanage the folks in our teams; we simply trust people to do what has been asked of them. We also welcome people to grow their careers at Banner, and in fact recently celebrated several people who reached their 40-year anniversaries with us. When a person is selected to move into a higher-level position, we want to first ensure they can be successful in the new role by comparing their experience, knowledge and talents--not who they know--to what will be needed in the new position. Quite simply, it’s our goal to set them up for success because it’s in our best interest to do so, and theirs. Also, you felt our Idea Board was not very effective in collecting opinions of the people at our warehouse facility, and this is good input for us; again, feedback such as yours helps us to continue to learn and improve. Lastly, thanks for the more than five years you chose to be at Banner, and the contributions you made.
