Pros

You can find in BSC a really professional environment, they are careful about every step and decision that they take, taking in account all the possible consequences. The HR team cares about employees and work a lot to establish good policies.

Cons

Being a public company, sometimes there is no budget for specific projects and the salaries are not as much competitive as in private companies.

- Sometimes is difficult to perform research in "real-world" problems. But probably it's the idiosincrasy of public science

As IT department member, I've only good words for the department boss (really good boss), for the environment (great), and for the job itself (really challenging).

Cons

The salary is really (REALLY) low.
