A young public research institute, the best option to pursue a career related to High Performance Computing. There are opportunities to contact with the best in the field.

Cons

Lack of communication between the different layers of management and scheduling. BSC is a public institution, therefore, being affected by governmental policies.

You can find in BSC a really professional environment, they are careful about every step and decision that they take, taking in account all the possible consequences. The HR team cares about employees and work a lot to establish good policies.

Cons

Being a public company, sometimes there is no budget for specific projects and the salaries are not as much competitive as in private companies.
