      friendly coworkers and flexible working week

      Cons

      1. business is worsening. Bond trading used to be top 3 on the street at lehman time. Now it's squarely on the 2nd Tier. They start outsourcing middle office ops to India now. 2. company keep cutting people and every team runs bare bone. There are so many people and so little resource. 3. ridiculous position-based promotion simply drive good people out of firm because they can not grow within the team. Layback people just stay with the firm until they can fetch fat severance package. 4. bonus sucks big time.

      Pros

      Surrounded by smart and talented co-workers. Midtown location is a great place. The brand is still attractive in the street. Can't really think of any more pros.

      Cons

      Three CEOs changes in five years. There by, no single strategy was successfully executed across any division over years. Several businesses are being sold off as spun off units.
