Pros

I have been at Barge for over 5 years now and am not sure why anyone would want to leave. The people are great and my manager always helps me sort through issues. The biggest pro is that I get to work on interesting projects and can work with different groups at Barge. Being multi-disciplinary is a huge plus for me. If you're looking for a solid place to get engineering experience, look no further than Barge.

Cons

PTO accrual is slow. I've heard they're working on it though.

Pros

The culture here is second to none. The company is employee owned, and it really shows. Everyone is personally invested in the success of the firm, and feels personally responsible for it's success. Very strategic about growth, and doesn't push growth just for the sake of growth.

Cons

The negative to an employee owned firm is that when everyone is invested, everyone also has their own microscope keeping up with the success of the firm.
