Pros

The opportunity for growth is endless. Culture is conducive to productivity and growth. Ability to work independently is fantastic. Introduction to new situations that foster and environment to build business acumen. "Eventual" earning potential through profit sharing appears to be attainable if growth is able to sustain at a high rate.

Cons

No salary increases. Compensation is based on "profit sharing" which is not easily attainable without rapid and sustainable growth. Health insurance is overly expensive and not conducive for family coverage.

Base comp is good. Negotiate a good rate up front no raises and benefits are expensive and majorly lacking!

Cons

No branch over site from corp. Corp supports poor leadership at the branch mgr. level. Because corp management is not involved branch managers get away with shocking behavior. IT support is almost non existent. You are going way back in time with the payroll and HRIS systems. Self direction approach is lacking tools to help success in role.

Decent pay (depending on who your area manager is), meet great people along the way, learn valuable life lessons, learn about human resources, opportunity for advancement (depending on what branch you are at).

Cons

Corporate doesn't support management employees, corporate is uninvolved and uninterested in visiting branches to check in and make sure things are going okay.
