Pros

I have worked for BaseCamp franchise for over 3.5 years and in those years I have been treated with respect, had my voice heard and been accommodated to the nth degree. The owners are very down to earth and understanding people if you get to know them and not fear them because they are the owners. I am a mother and still have to work, the owners have exceeded expectations by letting me work form home and the office as needed without dragging their feet or taking back their word. To me this has been such a great benefit and shows how much they do care about family.

Cons

Previous reviews state that the expectations are unreasonable and that you are expected to work 60 hours a week. I say to you, did you ever communicate and state your concerns about that? Yes I too have experienced this feeling often, but communication is key and when you communicate all is well.

Pros

Solid company, lots of room for growth, advancement opportunities, great co-workers, good pay, benefits and nice working environment. Employee discounts at company retail stores. Management team really listens to me and I feel like I'm able to do work that matters.

Cons

Haven't found anything yet that would send me running from this company! Too many positives and benefits.

Franchise Company - Lots of Growth Potential!

Pros

The people are probably my favorite part of my job. I really like everyone and people all seem to get along. This company is low on politics and you get to work directly with the owners and executive managers. I feel like I'm making a positive difference every day and having a real impact on people's lives. The company supports a number of very worthy charitable causes and has been working on improving the perks of working here. Work day is very reasonable and schedules are somewhat flexible. Paid Time Off :) is awesome!

Cons

Franchisees can be a little grumpy sometimes, benefits are good, but could be better. Sometimes you have to work extra, but then sometimes you can leave early, so this sort of balances out. There are only three bathrooms for 40 people!
