Pros

This is by far the best job that I have had. I feel like a valued member of the team. I love being a part of the meetings and feeling like what I say has value for projects. And there are so many projects to work on! My job is challenging and detail oriented, and I get to be creative where it counts. There is a lot of variety in my job that keeps me busy and learning and designing all the time. There are snacks in the kitchen, weekly lunches, fun holidays, dogs in the office, and overall friendly people to talk to. They are very flexible with my time so that I can go home to my own puppy mid-day and give her some exercise. I enjoy this job so much that if I need to move out of state for my husband's job, I will want to become a remote designer for Basecamp.

Cons

There is a lot of back and forth between executives pertaining to the marketing and promotions so I get quite a bit of feedback on my work. It is very easy to stay above it all and not get frustrated, it just requires verification.

Pros

- Great 401k match - Career Growth - Management values opinions of employees - Great chance to directly impact processes at the company and see the fruits of your labor - Very flexible to allow the ability to take care of and enjoy my family. - A great open door policy from your supervisor all the way up to the CEO

Cons

It would still be great to see other benefits added, specifically a group life insurance policy. However, with as much as the company has added in the last year, they are making good strides. As an added bonus, anytime i have had specific questions about benefits or lack thereof, the CEO has been more than willing to sit down with me and explain why the benefits package is the way it is and offer advice on alternatives.
