Pros

The deli has great employees and the best customers. I've a lot of food prep rules and policies I been able to apply at home. The hours are flexible. The pay could be better than it is. However it certainly could be worse.

Cons

This job is very part-time. Not enough hours at all. Even when there is a real need for help the manager won't even attempt to call someone in to help. There is also too much heavy lifting for women who are over forty (all but one of us). There should be a male teenager that lifts and stocks shelves, freezer, and walkin refridg 3 or 4 times a week for 2 or 3 hours a day.

Store management is good and listen to employees for the most part.catch

Cons

When the store gets busy it becomes difficult for the clerks to keep product on the shelves and in the coolers. Clerks/cashiers are called to the registers in busy times to help with the large amount of customers and process their transactions in a timely manner. This leads to them falling behind in doing their clerking job. It would be better to have more overlapping of shifts by at least an hour to help them catch up in stocking.

Cons

Local to AZ only. Use to feel like members of a family... no longer like this... have gone too corporate.
