Pros

Good discount, hard-working outfitters and team leads.

Cons

We were recently told management would be getting mid-year performance reviews due to the high number of GSM's and GM's leaving the company last year. That won't fix the problem. There are problems. The disorganization and lack of communication throughout the company. There's no company mandated training for any position. They seem to think computer training is sufficient. They cut payroll to save money, but the company doesn't realize how much payroll they waste due to outdated equipment and lack of training. You are told to ask questions, but when you ask questions they tell you that you should have known already. This applies to management in the store and corporate employees. So everyone is afraid to ask questions. I've worked for other companies that have sold credit cards. I have never worked for a company that puts as much pressure on you to sell credit cards. Stay clear of companies that make its employees "wear many hats". Chances are you won't receive the support you need.

Pros

The compensation is competitive and often above average for the region, which can make it an attractive option for professionals in the area. There are also opportunities to gain broad experience across multiple functions. This can be a valuable learning environment for those looking to build resilience and expand their skill set quickly.

Cons

Leadership decisions can feel arbitrary and disconnected from employee contributions, regardless of tenure. Whether you’ve been with the company for one year or thirty, roles can be eliminated without clear justification or transparency. It’s disheartening to see dedicated employees let go with little explanation—especially when overhiring seems to be followed by sudden cutbacks blamed on “economic factors.” Business decisions often lack urgency and clarity, and the company’s reactive approach can create instability for teams trying to do their best work. These patterns raise concerns about long-term planning and internal accountability.
