Pros

Working in admissions was very rewarding. You get to meet students and families who are curious and passionate about the school and your personal experience, get to plan interactive events, and work closely with colleagues, creating a team-oriented atmosphere.

Cons

Some of the hiring and promotions did not seem transparent and were rather arbitrary.

Pros

Singing and dancing with, designing and updating the website and Facebook page, and managing this large a cappella group has been one of the highlights of career. If you get the chance I strongly recommend you join them or at least listen to their melodious voices.

Cons

Given that it is a college a cappella group, it can at times be difficult for all members to balance this work with academic work. However, this year has had a record low number of issues overall.
