      Pros

      Competitive compensation, great benefits, and solid people. Opportunities to work on IR&D or other corporate money.

      Cons

      Very stove-piped making it difficult to get the personnel required to build an effective team.

      Competitive pay, decent benefits.

      Cons

      Terrible first job especially for young professionals. Most people at this company are "old guard" and protect each other irrelevant of performance or ethical flaws. Very questionable in terms of lab safety despite ISO and GLP certifications. Was hired as an engineer, to code full time as a computer scientist... reasoning? "anyone can learn a language". Corporate is very Ph.D heavy. Lots of condescending remarks if you aren't a Ph.D.

      The company is well known and has a large foot print in the contracting word. This allows for more direction for its growth and for its staff.

      Cons

      The shrinking number of new contracts may be a down hill slide.
