It's the people at B&L that makes you want to come in to work everyday. Great work-life balance (flexibility in work schedules).

Cons

Very slow progression with career. Currently status of company very unstable. Hard to tell the future of company in the next 6 month, 1 year or 2 years.

Benefit and Salaries were above the norm. There was a balance between work and home life. Opportunities were given to those who excel. B+L was very generous in giving back to the community.

Cons

Leaders were not always open about what was happening with the company in regards to the sale or going public.

Used to be a great place to work before acquired by Valeant.

Great benefits, decent salary, big name in Eye Health, products help millions of people everyday. Commute is pretty easy from anywhere.

Cons

Not much internal development, managers are only worried about themselves instead of developing talent. Valeant takeover has killed morale and it is not a fun place to work at this time.
