Pros

Work with a great team that is supportive. Good manager who tries to give team good work-life balance

Cons

Overly conservative--sometimes this makes it difficult to accomplish job, and possibly impacting pt outcomes. Very poor IT support.

Pros

Opportunities to learn and work in different roles (if you push hard). Many technical resources to consult with who are almost without exception eager to help. Salary is competitive. They will cover the cost of external training. Most of my supervisors have been supportive and encouraging.

Cons

Training for a specific role may or may not happen, so you need to be a self starter. It is easy to get lost in the crowd if you are not gifted at self promotion. it is a very vertical organization and it seems that important things are not recognized as important by the time they get to the level that can make a substantive change. Good people get let go to make up for budget issues, every year different groups get impacted.
