      Pros

      The values are the guiding principles behind Baycare. The values are what lead me to BayCare. It is truly like a family. The benefits are great and BayCare offers many opportunities to move within the organization.

      Cons

      Senior management does not let you make your own decisions. By senior management, I am talking at the VP and even Director level. Often reactive instead of proactive, at least in my experience. No sense of loyalty to best performers.

      Wonderful Dept. and People, but PRN Positions Are Unfair

      --Content, happy, friendly co-workers --Team building activities (picnics, events, lunches) --No stress --Great management (in my department): listens to employees --Diverse employees

      Cons

      --Growing number of PRN hires with no foreseeable chance at insurance or paid time off prevent these jobs from being viable long-term positions

      The management team at many sites are like a high school click.

      Pros

      Generally the co workers are a great group to work with.

      Cons

      The employees doing the day to day jobs generally seem to care about what they are doing. Senior management cares about the numbers only. They do not have a clue about what is going on at many of the sites. Managers and directors come and go as they please. They do not listen to the employees about anything. They say they listen but they do not. You can forget about ever moving up in the organization unless you know someone. People that are extremely qualified are just passed over. They only follow the policies when it suits them.
