Pros

After eight years I can say it depends on your department and VP what version of Baylor you get. Meaning, there are some great people and things happening.

Cons

There's so much spin and lack of transparency no one trusts anything at face value

Pros

• Decent Benefits (starts on Day 1) • Friendly Co-Workers • Flexible Hours (if you have a good supervisor)

Cons

• Pay is too low • Employee evaluation and merit increase are a joke (received ‘competent’ when doing two jobs) • Maternity leave is not the same for staff (faculty = 12 wks; staff = 6wks) • Tuition remission is not available for every program • HR is extremely slow and sometimes is not helpful
