Thanks you for the review. You are correct, as a Verizon retailer, BeMobile is focused on sales and customer service. Our pay plans have a base pay plus commission component that has worked well as each employee can obtain a great income with no earning cap! Our goal is for employees to find a very rewarding career at BeMobile.

Pros

This company was just starting and they are a amazing family. The company then was called Northstar Telecom it was one of the best experiences I had ever had. I have loved watching this company continue to grow because they really care for every single customer that walks in the door

Cons

There were no cons for me.

Thank you for the kind review. Northstar Telecom was our original name and we transitioned to the name BeMobile as we started to grow to more locations in ND, MN, WI, IA and SD. BeMobile cares for our customers and our employees and we are glad you were part of our family!

Pros

Great from the start and then it tails off after about a year when they’re comfortable with controlling you. Other sales partners are fun to work with. Great insurance and 401k

Cons

The amount of responsibility they let fall on an entry level sales person is extreme. There are about 20+ metrics you have to pay attention to and meet each month or you get negative reviews on yourself and the manager is forced to always think you’re not good enough to work there. The managers follow you around with a clipboard daily and are forced to do a daily review of each of your sales. Miss one word from their sales script and you’re forced explaining how you could of done better even if it was a nice sale. The managers are frowned upon from people up top if they try to even do any sale to help out the store. All they’re allowed to do is “coach” and make sure inventory is accounted for. The company is driven off of only one main goal. PROFIT. That wouldn’t be a problem if they didn’t try to cover it up by saying they care more for the customers. For example: If a customer says they don’t want an iPad or a screen protector or anything else in the store it’ll come back to haunt you in the form of 3 different tier managers asking you why you didn’t make that sale. Another example would be the company telling us to basically lie to customers about the prices they will pay. Essentially we’re told to include the price of a screen protector, case, phone, plus an iPad all in one and tell the customer that they’ll only be paying $260 inside the store that day for just their phone, when in reality when it comes to the final sale and they see all the products on the table you got for them they’re forced to give a yes or no answer to all of it and it makes for an awkward situation for the sales person and customer. It’ll never build trust the next time that person walks in to buy something.

Thank you for your review and honest feedback. This feedback is certainly not the intentions of the company. Yes, there is certainly a lot of data and goals set within our company due to various factors but ultimately aligning with our brand, Verizon. Our goal is to help our leaders and sales team focus on 5-7 measurables each period vs. 20+ so the goals are easier to achieve and less stressful. Also, as a company, we do strive for continuous improvement as that often results in more opportunities for our employees, leaders, and communities. We do frequently report metrics that influence the pay plans for our commission based employees and heighten our opportunities for growth in the future. We do have a goal to double the amount of employees and locations within our company in the next three years. Taking care of customers is a very big priority and when the customer experience is excellent, this drives repeat business and customer loyalty. The sales process is designed to be an interactive process that allows for understanding customers needs and recommending products, not to sell something to customers that is not wanted. Coaching conversations and 1-2-1 meetings are in place for all employees to continue to understand company goals, co-create ideas for improvement, and to celebrate success at every level in the organization. Thank you again and your review and input so we can continue to strive to be better. If you feel inclined, I would invite you to call our office so we can discuss more. Your feedback is being reviewed by Leadership to help BeMobile be better. Sincerely.
