      Pros

      I loved my job prior to acquisition by Beacon.

      Cons

      TOXIC leaders are allowed to remain in place while destroying departments. My department has seen a 92% turnover in less than a year for techs. Now, within our department, services are being discontinued due to a lack of qualified staff. Individuals with less than a Bachelor’s quickly become the smallest cogs spinning to make this machine run, with no hope of real advancement.

      There are none I am aware of.

      Cons

      The are top- heavy and completely out of touch with what nurses actually do and the stress floor nurses are under. Chronically short-staffed. There are more travelers than entity-employed nurses on the floors. Yet, they have minimum mandates every 6 weeks consistently for years with no end in sight. They do not value professionalism in nurses nor do they care about you.

      Pros

      Most of my co-workers are amazing! They understand that we as workers are on a raft left to drown by management.

      Cons

      Too many to list. There is no trust in management. If you have to come to work every day and wonder if you are going to get in trouble for providing excellent patient care there is something wrong.
