- care about safety - decent work life balance (in US offices- not projects or overseas) - good benefits/401K - good camaraderie - training opportunities

Cons

- very difficult living conditions on reach assignments overseas projects - lack of accountability at times amongst segments of staff - understaffed projects that lead to multiple work roles and work stress - have to play office politics and be favored by upper mgmt. to really move forward in career quickly compared to other young professionals - underpaid for high level of responsibility on overseas projects - very long work rotations for overseas jobs compared to other companies in the industry - almost nonexistent bonuses for new employees or employees in lower positions

The International paycheck and travel. Looks good on your resume.

Cons

Base salary is low. Cryonism and Nepotism is rampant at all levels. Unqualified individuals at the top elected by family and friends of family leadership. Literally no way to advance. You will be promised the world to get your un-clearly defined role done, then released when there's no longer budget. Over-management, and padding results in lots of lost work. No attractive projects in good locations.
