Pros

I love how this company caters so much of their efforts to their workers. I work in the Long Beach region and our managers are top notch. Each have their master's related to the field and are very passionate in helping children with autism. They're some of the best people I've had the opportunity to work with and not many people can say they love their bosses! The company also provides us with competitive pay, incentive rewards, raffles, PTO, benefits, consistent updates to policies, team meetings (which is a big deal for ABA), and many more amazing qualities! I've worked here for 3 years and have hired 6 people and they all love working here!

Cons

As a big company, it may be hard to accommodate everyone. Scheduling does a great job of keeping everything in order and together but may need some time to reply to employees, which is completely understandable.

Pros

Training is very thorough. Everyone, from the BI’s to the senior BI’s and supervisors, are super nice and extremely helpful. The families are sweet and very appreciative of the work that’s done with their child/children. The pay is good and I got up to full time hours within a month of getting my case load.

Cons

The only con that I’ve experienced is the amount of driving that’s required. It’s definitely something to get used to.

Thanks for your feedback! So glad to hear that you've felt support and helpfulness from our Texas team! The drive is part of the job, we try to discuss the realities of this field during interview. Usually, the wonderful families and cute kiddos make up for it. Find some great podcasts or audio books and before you know it, you'll love hopping in the car! Glad to have you on board!

Pros

If you want a job that works with autism and can develop a career to move to a better company, great place to start at.

Cons

This company does not train their employees properly, they do not file appropriately and they are more focussed on their image than they are on their clients.

Behavior Frontiers is committed to providing a significant amount of initial and on-going training to ensure that we provide a high-quality service to the clients whom we serve. New behavior instructors receive both classroom instruction, featuring video demonstrations, as well as hands-on, role-play activities covering the following topics: autism, the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), discrete trial teaching (DTT), naturalistic teaching strategies (NATS), data collection, behavior reduction techniques, ethical issues, and more. We also provide competency-based, field training, in which trainees have the opportunity to overlap with senior behavior instructors, while using ABA methods with clients, until they have demonstrated competency to work independently. The combination of both classroom and field training, which Behavior Frontiers utilizes, has been shown to be the most effective way to train!
