Competitive pay, if you can obtain enough working hours.

Cons

Worked no more than 4 hours a week and I asked for more hours and families to work with while a coworker frequently vented to me that they were overloaded with clients. I was asked to continue working with clients that did not want to build rapport with me, and thus lost out on valuable therapy time.

The kids are great. The position is rewarding.

Cons

They were very unorganized and poor communicators - from training to pairing with clients. I would learn 10 minutes in advance that I was supposed to be a client's home who lived an hour away (this happened a few times!). The home video training was dreadfully dense and LONG, leaving you feel unprepared by the time you're in home. I would attribute some of this to poor transitioning into the pandemic on the company's behalf, but geez...

Extraordinarily disorganized, did not take coivd protcols seriously, are lacking clients.

Be sure to communicate how many hours you are looking to work per week as we always try to give our Behavior Technicians all the hours they request to work! Our COVID policies are very thorough, comply with all CDC guidelines, and apply to all levels of employees and clients. If you have any concerns about policies not being followed, please immediately reach out to your supervisor or director so that any corrections or clarifications can be made. We have various measures in place to make sure our staff and clients are safe. Thank you for your dedication to your client and to our organization!
