      Pros

      Wide variety of software offerings.

      Cons

      The sales department is not a good place to be in this firm. Commission structure that is confusing and changes frequently without notice, along with your territory. You won't make any real money until the end of the year if and only if you surpass 100% quota. You spend a lot of time building a pipeline and then have it swiped away and switched to something else. Broad, massive, sweeping knee jerk reaction changes take place every year without intelligent thought or process applied. Good old boy mentality runs rampant throughout the organization. For a software company with progressive products there seems to be a glaring lack of progressive management and sound business principals. Who is steering this ship?

      Pros

      Amazingly broad portfolio of products which have been acquired over the past five years, great story for enterprise level engagement.

      Cons

      Struggling to find it's way in a changing market and work out the right organisational structure and go to market strategy. Used to be very good to it's employees which became its greatest assets, now the slash and burn has taken a lot of the good people away that made a difference. Compensation plan is crazy bad. The past 3 years I was there, the quota carrier always the casualty. Dishonesty and mistrust in the management which made it difficult after ignoring it for a long time. Saw this happen to many colleagues who lost their faith. A lot of this has to do with HQ being based in the US. They have can have quite a narrow view without considering other markets and operations and therefore take a 'one size fits all' approach.

      Entrepreneurial Spirit, Feels like a family owned business

      Cons

      Management controls cost through the management of the employee population. Company lays off and hiring slows down or stops when sales are down. 2015 has seen a large layoff.
