      It was good 3years back but currently it became very harmful for career.

      Pros

      This is a good domain blessed company -as subject and matter wise, this type of business has got multi-fold prospects. 

      Cons

      As said, the 'match' of business domain versus people is a big mismatch. So it the culture. Non-fits are on big roles who are eager to showcase their non-sense ideas to top to keep self safe. For example, the HR dummies are funny; sometime back in background they misaligned all titles leaving highly experience people like 20+ yrs experience equivalent to some one 2-3 years exp. Making fun of designations and ladder. The slab is unproven. Similarly, recently they begged existing staff to write good about the down-fading image of organization. This is LOL, as slaves are bound to write good as if they are competing for the same 'show-case' culture. Pity on the cheap show going now-a-days.  On top of that appraisal is very imp thing from employee prospect but here it's is easy to get good hike by buttering your manager , doesn't matter your worked hard here or did Facebook ,web surfing here. & Equation is Manager= having 14+exp in same organization and doesn't have value outside of Bentley.

      Joined about a year ago, Good company to work with, Facilities are good including transport and food, Senior staff is good, good work life balance.

      No Cons, good company to work with so far.

      Pros

      Some great people, some good technology and a lot of potential

      Cons

      Atrocious management especially CRO and CFO. Bentley's motto is: make it as difficult as possible for Users and Employee's. Unfortunately I agree with most of the negative comments in previous reviews, even the one about HR instructing staff to make positive comments on Glassdoor to counter the negative ones. Bentley's latest restructure has been disastrous, with very few people competent enough to make it work and total disrespect for the workforce and the people who have helped build the company. Moral is the lowest it has ever been, compensation plans are unfair, where you can actually end up owing the company money. There is no work, life balance . There is no leadership, management is based on do it or else... Internal systems malfunction often. The culture has deteriorated into having to watch your back, with multiple silos and very few people willing to help out others. If it is not in their job description then why should they bother...
