Pros

- The student body is diverse, creative, and inspiring - Depending on your department, you can work when you want (I worked from around 10am-6pm, others worked a standard 9-5, while others worked 8-4, etc.) - Full-time work week is 35 hours, and the college works on Macs which is rare for any employer but should be the standard - Paid week off between Christmas and New Year's, as is standard in the music industry - Strong 401k match, 12 days of PTO first year, 20 days after that

Cons

- Senior administration, especially among the President/VP/Dean level is incredibly out of touch with students and lower level administrative employees; their decisions seem purely financially motivated - Benefits are extremely poor in comparison to Boston's many other colleges, especially when it comes to transportation subsidies, tuition reimbursement, and health care benefits (eye care coverage is practically non-existent) - Extensive turnover and incredibly low morale campus-wide due to upper level management's incompetence and unwillingness to listen - The college is focused more on meeting industry numbers and percentages rather than educating their students and ensuring their success after graduation (for those who even graduate - almost 50% of students here drop out before they get there) - Abhorrently low compensation
