Pros

Competitive pay for high-school and college students - Especially Geek Squad positions. Management is very friendly with associates and is welcome to discussing issues. Management is also very supportive for employees when dealing with angry customer issues The job environment is very enjoyable and is almost always fun. Numerous resources to help with job knowledge (Online eLearnings, support databases for issues, etc). Employee stock purchase options and 401k for both part-time and full-time. Employee discount, vendor accommodations and training for part-time and full-time. Health benefits and tuition assistance for full-time employees. Most co-workers are friendly and willing to assist others. Free food and drinks during some workdays or at meetings. Good experience for strengthening your customer interactions, selling skills, and troubleshooting knowledge. Peer-review system for employee disputes. Diverse staff (Gender, Race, Orientation) - Balanced male/female ratio for management Continuing that, there isn't any noticeable discrimination towards gender, race, or sexual orientation choices. Co-workers are like family Meetings that recognize employees that have been doing well. Prizes are sometimes given. Non-Commission job (Can be a pro/con depending upon the person) Flexible with scheduling Coaching to improve work skills

Cons

Yearly raises. The number of hours for part-time employees can suffer sometimes. Difficulty resolving some customer issues due to having to escalate through corporate or due to company policies. Paths to career development aren't always clear - However, management is more than happy to discuss with you what you can do if you ask. Communication issues between departments and internal systems.
