Pros

If you work hard you have the opportunity to advance quickly and make a decent rate of pay. It is predictable work for the most part, not many curveballs.

Cons

A lof of the policies that are handed down to the store level do not meet the store's needs. Management typically has to fight uphill battles on the simplest decisions that are best for their store. They know their market the best, they should be able to run it appropriately without micro management from above.
