Pros
The employee discount is fantastic. You get a job where you basically talk to customers and recommend fun stuff for them to buy. It's in no way a hard job to do but at the same time you feel like they credit their employees ENTIRELY with with successes and failures of the store. To them there is no such thing as a slow day or just a bit of bad luck with a sale.
Cons
There is no way to advance in best buy unless you completely drink the kool aid. You have to learn a huge mess of acronyms and take ridiculous certifications for the department you work in. You can count on pathetic raises every year.
