Pros

5% Above Cost discount on various products through-out store. Accessories are probably one of these things that I benefitted from most. Insignia gets you a greater discount than most.

Cons

Management Consistency, Favoritism, I felt that once I arrived at Best Buy from when I first started I saw a huge turnover in the employees I started with. It was almost like if anybody thought outside of the box. People were set up to be terminated without explaining the policies to these employees. I personally was wrote up for something that I didn't initiate in a phone activation. Once I observed and remembered what was done I documented all my information. The Store Manager himself owed me an apology as I was set up due to a manager not liking me because I didn't sell services I didn't believe in myself. Later found this out and opted out of their department and bided my time until I could find something that I could receive benefits and a full time status.

Pros

Great Company. Very stable.Decent Benefits.

Cons

Wages start high but don't advance very far. Little chance for advancement due to fewer leadership positions.

Pros

Flexibility with your career. You can change direction and jump to an entirely different team and that is widely accepted around the company. I haven't had the same experience with past employers. If you get your foot in the door and make connections, you can transfer to a job that interests you (if your current position does not).

Cons

Your manager really dictates your pay. I have had crappy managers and great ones. I have had my pay increase dramatically just because my boss went to bat for me. Don't let anyone tell you they can't make it happen. They just have to fight for you.
