Pros

Working at BVM is the best job I have ever had. The products, sales support and back office are fantastic!

Cons

I was an Ex.VP on Madison Ave. for over twenty years, wish I could have worked here sooner.

Pros

BVM is a great business opportunity for hard working people that are self motivated and like to work independently. It is the best thing it could've happened to me after I finished school. There is an unlimited income producing business with a great support system. It helps you grow as a business professional and as a person. If you are looking for a company that has the best culture you can possibly for find, a great income, flexibility and reputation within your community look no further.

Cons

Pros

My wife and I are surrounded by real people, with real successes and real struggles. The support afforded by Best Version Media is like nothing I've encountered before. So many organizations have a culture of negativity and blame. Best Version Media is 180 degrees different. From CEO Dave Durand right on down to district and regional managers, there is always, ALWAYS encouragement, advice and a shoulder on which to lean. This hasn't been an easy journey, but it's been infinitely rewarding. We had options when choosing a company with whom to partner, and I am 100% convinced that we made the right choice. You truly can judge this book by it's cover: what you see is what you get. Real people, helping each other design lives worth living.

Cons

No real cons, but in the interest of honesty: working income-free while struggling to create a magazine where none currently exists can be challenging... it's important to keep your eye on the prize. Likewise, it's a difficult concept to explain to some friends and family. Until you can hold a magazine in your hand and show it to them, many just don't seem to understand exactly what it is your doing. Lastly, coming home excited about adding a new sponsor to the magazine prepress only to be asked by our children: "So do you make any money on THIS one?" and having to answer, "Nope, not yet." (However, this has proven to be an incredible lesson to our children on delayed gratification. Sometimes it makes sense and cents, to go without for a season in order to reap a bountiful harvest in the future. Our magazine will be hitting mailboxes in about seven weeks and we are thrilled to begin reaping the fruits of our labor.)
