Pros

The support system you receive with BVM is phenomenal considering you are your own boss and in many cases you work alone. You never feel alone with this company. If you do then there is always someone to reach out to. The training is amazing so that truly any self-starter who has no sales experience can do this job. I am still in the pre-print phase as an associate publisher, but already I know this is a company I want to stick with and people that I want to work with for years and years to come.

Cons

You have to be able to get out of your comfort zone. This job can be hard at first and working hard to go to print with limited income is difficult. The good exponentially outweighs the challenges and if you are a person that can overcome that you truly will be the best version of yourself.

Pros

Although I no longer work for Best Version Media, my Division Managers were the best managers I have ever had at any job I have ever held. They were completely supportive of my efforts. They were very accessible and returned phone calls and emails promptly. They helped me resolve problems when they came up. They were very motivational throughout my time there. My Regional manager was also very supportive, although I did not have contact with him as much as my DM, but he was an excellent person to work for.

Cons

Starting a new magazine is not easy, but the support you receive from management actually amazed me. The hardest part is making the cold calls and receiving a lot of no's.

Pros

Your work your own schedule.

Cons

Had to pay to go to training (airfare, Hotel, food and transportation. They never gave any information at training that you would have to hire your own photographer and content writer.
