Pros

For most of my career, I recruited within agency/staffing for five years. I then transitioned to Beyond Finance in-house as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. It has been incredibly rewarding. A major reason I chose this team was the confidence I felt in leadership, specifically Lauren and Hannah. From my initial transition to my day-to-day work, I have felt supported and in good hands. Supporting high-volume recruiting within the Client Success Department has shown me how a high-performance culture can remain welcoming and collaborative. The CSD team is full of approachable, talented individuals who helped me navigate internal processes and expectations from day one. I love the fact that our team is composed of very experienced recruiters; we frequently share different approaches and encourage one another to think outside the box. It has also been exciting to see four people in my department earn promotions recently. Celebrating my colleagues' success makes me feel confident in the clear career paths available here. As a fully remote employee, the recent on-site in our Atlanta office has been my biggest highlight so far. It was an amazing opportunity to meet everyone on my team and have that office camaraderie in person. I truly appreciate that our executive team values these connections and created such a great space for us to collaborate.

Cons

None so far, have really enjoyed my experience!!

Pros

Working from home and provided equipment.

Cons

This job has very little job security. You can be let go within your first month on the phones if you don’t hit certain metrics, and there’s no real learning ramp to help you get there. You’re constantly stressed about hitting numbers after only about a week of basic training, with very little actual technique or skill development. Training overall is extremely poor. There’s not enough time given to build contacts or relationships, which are necessary to succeed in the role. Team leads and managers don’t really teach—they mainly focus on reviewing metrics instead of helping you improve. You are also constantly micromanaged without clear reasoning, which adds unnecessary pressure instead of actual support. There also seems to be a lot of favoritism and gossip within the company. It feels like certain employees get more support than others, which makes it harder to succeed if you’re not in that circle. Management can be inconsistent as well. You may be told to handle situations one way, then later be told that it goes against policy. When you ask for help, the guidance is often vague or not very thoughtful, and doesn’t give you a real strategy to improve. If I had known how disorganized and unsupportive the onboarding process was, I wouldn’t have taken the job. I would strongly caution anyone against leaving a stable position for this role.
