Pros

Pays on time, secure building, awesome colleagues

Cons

Nepotism, indisputable favoritism, dishonesty, company changes the rules as they go along, total disregard for the compensation transcribed on the letter of intent as they will pay you according to their budget assumingly, I have TWO degrees in Accounting and Finance and was offered $68k/ yr, however, after spending 1 full year of working here I earned a whopping $35k for the year. The bonus structure is absolutely ridiculous, thusly, despite the fact that I averaged a performance rank for bonuses at #2 I am saying that this company does not properly compensate their employees. During the pandemic they converted my team from salary to hourly. Thusly, from $2400 on the 15th and last day of the month to approximately $700 every two weeks. Quitting and looking for employment during this time was not feasible so I stayed and roughed it out. The bonuses during this time were also ridiculous, expecting us to reach these outrageous quotas while particular team members were given "hot sheets" to work from while everyone else got terrible sheets to work from was nothing short of a set-up. When I brought this to my manager's attention I was told that I was not the only person to bring it to her attention and she's going to tell me the way she told the others, which was that we shouldn't be focusing on other people and what they're doing, so if we put that energy into getting deals then we wouldn't have time to notice anything else. I was taken aback and quite discouraged even more at his point. During the company's 2019 Christmas party the CEO announced that he was proud of the team at Beyond as they generated $1.2 BILLION in revenue... Now I see how that was possible. They do not appropriately compensate their employees and pocket their money.

Pros

free food and no dress code

Cons

You literally have to give your notice in order for the people that run this place to do anything for you. Give your 2 weeks and then wait and they will come running to keep you and offer you the moon and the stars. If you don't threaten to leave tho you will get nothing. They love to use their employees and treat them like crap until they are about to leave. But get any promise they make you in writing or they will go back on it for sure.

Pros

The biggest pro for me was leaving this organization. Since I have to write something here I would say the lack of dress code and supply of free snacks is nice for anyone whose ever worked for a real company and didn't have those benefits. Most of the people were nice and fun to work with, until people either left or got laid off.

Cons

If you are a criminal, have served time, or gotten away with a lot of shady stuff in the past this is the company for you! The bait and switch approach that is used to lure vulnerable customers in is truly disgusting. This organization has no desire to help customers, it only wants to make money. If you want to leave work questioning your morals then once again this is the job for you. No one cares anymore and if you do you'll eventually leave. I've watched most of the competent people leave and we are now stuck in a culture where everyone works from home (if they work at all) or are call center employees.
