High Stress But High Reward

Pros

I started as a sales associate in May 2024 and transitioned to the training team in December 2025. I’ve been at Beyond Finance for almost two years. Any sales job will have a level of stress from constant focus on metrics but the training and support from managers and coworkers is excellent. I enrolled my own personal debts into our debt resolution program and as an employee the 25% fee was waived. I am now out of credit card and personal loan debt and focused on bigger goals like buying a home. Beyond Finance made it possible to turn my financial life around and I am grateful for the opportunity. It feels good to help clients take their first steps toward financial freedom.

Cons

It can be extraordinarily stressful when the metrics are against you, but there is a lot of support from management and coworkers. Having a positive mindset and being coachable is key.

Pros

Love My experience working here mainly for the learning aspect. Almost everyone is willing to share information that me succeed in leadership sales. My directors and managers are all great. I’m excited to become a leader and follow in their footsteps.

Cons

You might have to deal with time consuming people, but that’s any sales or management role

Pros

Beyond Finance is in a really fulfilling phase, and it’s a great spot to get some serious experience under your belt early on. We’ve moved past the startup chaos but kept the anti-red tape culture, so newcomers or those looking to level-up still have a direct opportunity to help streamline and optimize processes. It’s a solid place to build a career foundation, especially in the Chicago office where the exposure to senior leadership is huge for developing your executive presence. The pay is competitive and the quarterly bonuses are a good perk. Just know that it is a culture of close management; being adaptable and taking feedback as a gift rather than taking it personally is the secret. If you can prove you’re consistent, the autonomy and growth opportunities will naturally present themselves. Beyond is what you make it, and it’s the perfect place to start.

Cons

Always-on mentality for all hours you are scheduled to work. Not really a camera-off, barely work kinda company if you're looking for that!
