Pros
The first thing I noticed about OverStock was how professional everyone is. I was also very intimidated at first because everyone seemed almost.. over intelligent (from what I was used to). These worries were quicked snuffed out because everyone is so helping and encouraging of growth and learning. The management is not overbearing, and I'm often left asking what more I can do (which I guess could be a con). Very relaxed atmosphere, couldn't be happier.
Cons
The air quality in the building is not the greatest, though this isn't directly OverStock's fault I feel like they should be addressing it. One thing I miss from my previous job is the one on one meetings I had with my team lead. Though this is said to occur at OverStock it has only happened once since I've been here (4 months).

Pros
Possibly a place to learn some skills, skiing & politics. If you are want to live in utah maybe one of the limited choices. If you do't have a job take it as a last resort -then leave as soon as you get a better offer job or get fed up.
Cons
IT/dev runs the place - all other divisions run scared - if your not in IT then accept your inferior position - no career path for qa/ba's/business - just work & get paid half decently - but you'll be a little clog for ever - they fired/demoted all the qa management and want you to be agile (under it department)-there are a few guys in top management who are there for life bec of relations w/the ceo-and middle management by another bunch of guys -also hordes of h1 guys with their appls screwed up & stuck
