Cons
Narcissistic and inexperienced CEO who is easily persuaded and doesn't trust the people who actually have experience. A group of providers who have no fundamental understanding of how business works filed to unionize because they wanted better pay and schedules, even though their pay is very competitive to market and their schedules were created to support the greatest need of the patients. They are still VC backed and weren't able to close their Series C even before the union petition, but that ruined any chance they had. Head of People is a sorry excuse of a people leader and has done nothing but further deteriorate the culture and morale of the company. Tech and processes are barely HIPAA compliant, if they even are. Second round of layoffs in 14 months just happened and due to the timing, the UAPD (Union for American Physicians and Dentists) is now filing charges against the company claiming retaliation. The Head of People should have known this would happen and stopped the layoffs from happening.
